Marine Animals starts at the bottom of the sea and keeps climbing until it runs out of mountain. Crabs, seahorses, turtles, dolphins and a truly unreasonable number of sharks all live here, and each one decided the ocean was a fine place to be from, not necessarily a place to stay.
Down on the reef
The party starts below the surface. Crab Rave Music puts a bright blue crab in sunglasses behind a turntable, one claw on the deck and the other wrapped around a beer, and the whole reef can hear it. The Turtle Artist design shows a sea turtle gliding through a burst of blue water with a mug held out in front like he is leading the way. Seahorse Chill has built himself a little island of flowers and citrus, and the Firefighter Seahorse suits up in a red helmet with a hose in hand, because even underwater somebody has to answer the call.
Riding on top of it
A little higher up, the surface is crowded. The dolphin balances on a board with a beer raised, Surfing Shark Tides crashes out of a wave, and Kayak Shark paddles a bright yellow kayak through the chop. Best of all, Shark Jockey puts a penguin in charge, perched on a shark's back and holding a bottle like he trained for this. The shark seems fine with the arrangement. Nobody asked him.
Above sea level, way above
Then the sharks leave the water entirely. Hang Gliding Shark soars under an orange wing over a tiny green island, Craggy Climber Shark hauls himself onto a rock with a mug of beer, and Climb Adventure Shark reaches a summit painted in sunset colors. Speedy Skier Shark and Snowboard Shark take the slopes in goggles, and back at the lodge the rest of them have picked up day jobs: a shark in a lab coat surrounded by beakers, a shark rising out of a coffee cup, a shark flipping burgers over open flames and a shark pounding a full drum kit.
For the one who was born near the water
This collection is for the person who checks the tide chart before the weather. The friend who snorkels on every vacation, the dad who has opinions about which beach has the best sand, the kid at heart who still presses their face against the aquarium glass. Pick a creature from whichever depth suits them best, deep reef or mountain summit. Just know that if you choose one of the sharks, it will probably ask to borrow the car next weekend.
