These are not the seals from the aquarium show, and they are definitely not waiting around for a fish. Every seal in this collection has a job, a uniform and a strong opinion about how that job should go. Each one wears the same promise across the top of the art: I've Got This… Hold My Beer.
The badge brigade
Seal Police stands at attention in a crisp blue uniform, badge on the chest, cap pulled low, holding a foamy pint with the relaxed grin of an officer whose shift ended four minutes ago. Cop Seal is the one who got the call anyway. He is mid-leap, flippers flung wide, beer mug held high, with bright splashes of blue and orange behind him like he just belly-flopped straight into the action. Same department, two very different approaches to police work, and somehow both of them close their cases.
Captains and cooks
Coast Guard Seal poses in a captain's hat inside a big orange life ring, framed by a ship's wheel and a spray of sea water, looking very much like the seal who has already rescued everyone on this beach twice before lunch. Then there is Seal Chef, a round brown seal in a tall white toque and chef's coat, proudly presenting a stacked burger against a black background. Nobody asked him to cook. He heard the grill was open and took it personally. His whiskers are singed, his apron is spotless, and his burger has more layers than most wedding cakes.
For the one who shows up in uniform
This collection is for the person whose job is basically their personality, in the best way. The officer who still directs traffic in the grocery store parking lot. The coastie who quietly judges every boat at the marina. The backyard cook who owns more spatulas than shoes. Give them the seal who matches their post and watch them grin at the resemblance, whiskers and all. Seals are famously good at two things: looking adorable and sliding into places they were not invited. That covers most weekends at your house, too.
