The count is full, the bases are loaded, and the whole ballpark is holding its breath. Stepping into the box is a bear with a serious swing and a very clear plan for after the game. The Baseball collection is one design built around that single perfect moment, the half second before contact when anything is possible.
The swing
The bear stands in solid black silhouette, knees bent, weight loaded on the back foot, bat cocked high over his shoulder. His eyes are locked on the ball, which is already on its way in, hanging just outside the circle at the upper left like it knows what is about to happen to it. The stance is textbook. Somewhere a little league coach is pointing at him and telling a room full of kids to do exactly that.
The bottle on deck
Standing on the dirt right beside him, patient as a bat boy, is a single bottle of beer. He did not bring it to the plate by accident. That bottle is waiting for the trot around the bases, the high fives at home and the long walk back to the dugout. It is the small detail that makes the whole design, and it is the exact reason anyone who has ever played in a beer league will laugh the moment they see it.
Under the lights
The scene is framed in a glowing circle of gold, warm and bright like the stadium lights coming on for a night game, and the lettering curves around it in loose hand-drawn script. Black on gold keeps it simple and sharp, so it reads cleanly from the bleachers and stays neutral enough to wear with any team's cap.
For the one who never misses opening day
This is for the rec league slugger who still talks about that one home run, the parent who has spent every spring weekend in the bleachers, the fan who keeps score by hand with a pencil, and the grandparent who can tell you the batting average of players who retired decades ago. Picture them looking at this bear and recognizing their own batting stance, down to the wiggle before the pitch. Here comes the ball. The bottle is ready for the celebration whenever he is.
