Exotic Animals collects the creatures who came a very long way to be this bold. They hail from savannas, rainforests and islands most of us only see in documentaries, and every one of them has picked up a hobby nobody back in their native habitat would ever approve of.
Long necks and big skies
Giraffe Drop might be the most confident animal in the whole store. A giraffe dangles beneath a bright red canopy, drifting over a valley of pines and blue ridgelines, legs hanging loose like this is a perfectly normal Tuesday. Nobody knows how the harness fits around that neck. The giraffe is not worried about it. Out on the water, Windsurfer Meerkat grips a striped sail in sunglasses and a red jacket, beer held out for balance, looking like he has waited his whole life to leave the burrow.
The lemur situation
Madagascar sent two very different ambassadors. Demure Lemur sits calmly among palm leaves and golden sand, big eyes wide, a beer resting in both hands like a lemur who has never once rushed anything. Lunar Lemur Lily went the other direction: full spacesuit, striped tail curling out behind her and a foaming mug raised in salute. One stayed on the island. One left the planet. Both are thriving.
Healers of the wild
Medic Lion the Lifesaver brings the king of the jungle into the ambulance bay, a red cross on his cap and a drink in each paw after a long shift. The Healing Hedgehog has his own idea of medicine: a denim jacket, a splash of orange and red, quills bristling and two mugs ready for whoever needs one most. Bedside manners vary. Enthusiasm does not.
For the one who always goes a little farther
This collection is for the traveler who comes home with a story about a lemur. The friend who volunteered at a wildlife sanctuary one summer and still brings it up at dinner. The kid who knew every animal at the zoo by name and grew into the adult who plans vacations around where the giraffes are. They like their animals a little unusual and their adventures a little unreasonable. Give them the giraffe if they are always first to jump, or the lemur in the spacesuit if they are quietly plotting a trip to the moon. Either one will fit right in on the next safari, though the giraffe may insist on parachuting in.
